Introduction

The global brain is a collection of information processors and communication channels. It includes such facilities as wikipedia which implement a method for collecting and refining information. Since wikipedia is available in multiple languages, it facilitates translation of important ideas between languages. Other faciilities include blogs, broadcast radio, television, amature radio, email and face to face contacts between people.
