When you trust someone to invest your money, you are surrendering power and responsibility. MoneyMoney is power. Money comes from work. It also comes from luck. Of course money begets money. Money earns interest. Money earns favors. Money is measurable. Money in fungeble. LuckNever overlook the role of luck. Do not mistake luck for virtue. You are not virtuous because you are born wealthy in America. You are lucky. You did nothing to deserve such luck. PowerWith money and trust comes power. Power may be used for good or evil. Power may be used to build or to destroy. Power may be used to solve problems or to create problems. ResponsibilityWith power comes responsibility. InterdependenceMan cannot survive alone. Modern, urban man is very dependent upon the services of others. This dependence greatly limits our freedom. We adapt our lives to the constraints of our dependencies. ![]() |
